Chairman John Tomlinson said: "In these days of electronic gadgets traditional Scouting values and activities are more valuable than ever and we are very grateful to M&S for helping us to improve the quality of the scouting experience for young people in and around Newbury.

1st Newbury is also appealing for funds for toilets, parking, services, storage and security to bring their new headquarters up to a more 21st century standard, without losing the traditional Scouting feel."
